International Daughters Day was celebrated with gusto and aplomb at BVM, USN. Sh. Kailash Chander Maini Ji (Manager BVM, USN) graced the occasion with their benign presence and blessed the students. Students from class I to V expressed their gratitude towards selfless, valiant soldiers of Indian army, who are away from their homes safeguarding Indian borders, by posting them handmade lovely rakhies and greetings cards. Khushi Nayyar (XI) recited a heart touching poem ‘Put vandaon zameena, dheeyan dukh vandaan’, dedicated to daughters, a blessing in disguise.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi enlightened the students about the real importance of this devout occasion and advised the students to tie a sacred thread made in India only to promote swadeshi goods and avoid china - made products.
